Coverage

We’re very excited to welcome San Francisco artist Adam Caldwell for his first exhibition with the gallery.

An urgent response, this body of work arises from acute concern about the cultural and political trajectory of the United States.

Activism. Environmentalism. Ethnicity. Inclusion. Minority. Refugee.

Each piece begins with a single word that has been removed from U.S. federal websites, using that erasure as a conceptual seed. Through layered mark-making and visual reconstruction, Caldwell’s images gives form to what is being suppressed, offering a deeply personal and politically attuned meditation on resistance.

Join us for an opening reception with the artist on November 15 from 5 to 9 PM. In conjunction with this exhibition, we are exciting to be releasing a unique graphic novel interpretation of the show.
